I “heart” you – Healthy Breakfast!

Posted by Maria Kang on September 24, 2006

I have always related food to happiness…but after I became an ‘emotional eater’ that didn’t turn out too well. But now that giving and receiving ‘love’ has provided me with the ‘energy’ I lacked in my stomach, I am now able to become satisfied with healthy, clean and nutritious foods easily.

And most importantly, I enjoy cooking for people I love.

This is made for a person who weighs approx. 190 pds. Here is a fun recipe that is both delicious and creative that y’all should try:

Ingredients:
2 Rice Cakes
7 Egg whites, 1 whole egg
1 Veggie Cheddar Cheese
1.5 Tablespoons of Almond Butter
1 Tablespoon of Pumpkin Butter (Puree)
1 Small tomato
4 Spinach Leaves
Half Grapefruit

Approx.
450 calories

Fun Additions:
Cut the Tomato into hearts (slice in half and cut a small triangle from top)
Add the Green Spinach Leaves behind tomotoes for some Color Accent
Write “I “Heart” U in Veggie Slices and Almond-Pumpkin Butter

Happy Healthy Meals!
