It was only a matter of time….
China’s obese population has risen to 60 million! The increase in city living, fast food consumption and sedentary living is starting to take its toll on this great giant.
When I visited Beijing in 2002, while it was a big city, many people still rode bicycles as their main source of transportation. However, because the city was preparing for the 2008 Olympics, many new roads and freeways were also being built.
Despite the obesity, many people still endure poverty - the dynamic of city and country dwellers are apparent in their varying health statistics.

China can learn from America’s mistakes.
