Christmas Protein Cookies!
As I prepare another year of baking cookies and buying tin cans for friends and families I am seriously considering a healthier alternative! Last year I decided to create a trail mixture of healthy nuts, dried fruit and some chocolate for gift treats.
For those of you who are considering treating friends with a ‘healthy’ surprise. Try this ‘no bake’ cookie treat. It tastes awesome when dieting!!
Ingredients:
4 Cups Hi-Lo Cereal
1/2 Cup Natural Peanut butter
1 cup Skim Milk
5 Scoops Protein Powder
Strawberries (cut in halves, and if you want to be really cute, cut into hearts!)
Add some fat free cool whip if desired.
No Bake Directions:
- Mix until a sticky batter is formed (may take a few minutes)
- Use a small spoon to place into neatly round balls on a wax or foil paper.
- Wait 20-30 minutes for the mixture to harden before consuming.
