People and Companies that use PHOTOSHOPPED Ads and Magazine Covers are all ’sell outs’

Sure - you probably can’t find even ONE magazine cover that hasn’t had its computer surgeon play with it a bit - but honestly, THAT is sad. It’s even sadder if you are actually a model on those pages and you look absolutely different in person. That’s sad. (I think I already said that! :-) Let’s be real y’all. Can we start being real from now on?? Because I think the public is getting tired of being around fake images ALL THE TIME. Maybe if we put real images out there, we wouldn’t have so many inferior complex’s of people who think they are ‘not normal’ because they don’t look like the fake images found in media.

I totally agree. When we see celebrities, we often think, “Wow, they are impossibly perfect!”. But that is just it. It is impossible, because those images aren’t real. When you see a celebrity or model without makeup and computer touches, you realize, “Hey, they look pretty good…but so do I.”

We need to have realistic images out there for our children to model against and not fake images like we often see. I venture to say that 99% of all magazine covers and ads are all photoshopped. HOW SAD. […]
