Post Valentine’s Day DETOX
So! For all y’all who splurged on chocolate and wine last night (myself definitely included) then I suggest you consider ‘detoxing your body today if you feel: tired, unenergetic, weak, toxic etc.
I have something to admit: I’ve been feeling like this for about a month! I know that my body is on overdrive most of the time…and that I’m not always fueling it with the right foods (especially yesterday!) So even though it’s already end of week..I’m starting a new plan RIGHT NOW. What’s first on my list? Detoxing my body! I need to feel rejuvenated again: energized and internally clean!
What is a detox? A detox is usually a short term program used with the goal of cleaning out your internal system in mind. With all the pollutants that exist in our daily lives: clothes, food, water, drinks, air pollution…all that stuff gets inhaled through your body and makes all your organs, especially your liver, hard to process.
Usually I’ve done just ‘fluid’ or ‘all fruit’ detox’s – sometimes I’ve added apple cider vinegar to the mix. Today, however, I’m going to be looking into several dif’t options and will let everyone know the plan manana!!
