Real Fitness Advice from a REAL Role Model
I love reading fitness information and advice from REAL role models: the people who actually WORK for a living and don’t get paid to have a six pack…they just do!
Here is a recent blog entry from a male, fitness role model: Jeff
——-

I was at the gym tonight and noticed how full it was, I saw people I haven’t seen in months. Everyone wants to be in shape for summer. Summer is here (100 in SoCal today), and the people I saw won’t be getting into shape anytime soon unless they work at it. It’s not magic, it takes discipline.
It’s so much easier to maintain your fitness year round than start in early May to be fit for summer. No, you don’t have to work out 5 nights a week, ride a bike 100 miles a week, or do 500 sit ups a night to be fit.
It’s much easier than that, if you can make it a year round thing you won’t have to do crazy things in May to try to be in shape for July and August.
Even if you can’t make it to the gym, how about 50 sit ups a night? Guys how about 50 push ups a night, each week you can add more. After a month of doing both you will see changes in your upper body. Cardio is the most important thing when it comes to over all fitness. You have to make time for 20-30 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week. Plan on doing this, make it a priority.
How about diet? No eating after 6PM. Fish, chicken, cottage cheese, fruit, vegetables have to be part of your diet. Cut down on bread, no junk food ever, no fast food. No soda, no candy or sugar. No beer. Can you do this 6 days a week?
Being fit will make you feel much better about yourself, setting goals and achieving them. Won’t waking up and seeing a fit you in the morning feel good?

YEP! Life is about feeling good about yourself and comfortable in a body that supports an active lifestyle. Thanks Jeff!
