I was at my dance class tonight and while my ankle hurt (I have really bad ankles - in fact, I rotate it each day…it looks funny when I’m about to trip and fall on my face!) I still managed not to sprain it and go the entire hour. Even though I was fearful of landing on it.

Anyways - as I was saying: I was in dance class and it was super fun. Our instructor, Mark, taught us ten 8 counts. What I love most about the class is being able to dance, shake your hips and have fun with the music…all while getting your heart rate up!

Towards the end of the class he always divides us up into sections and in the end he divides the men and women. When the men dance (and usually there are about 5 men vs. 30 women) it’s soo hilarious. But they look so cute! And if I knew for certain they were of heterosexual orientation, a lot of girls would be attracted to those guys! When men dance and take charge and are confident…there is something about it?!! Really.

Besides the fact that dancing is similar to a sexual experience…everything about dancing, from the vibes, the body movement, the passion - it’s sooo sexy!

On another note, a couple girls left the class and asked me afterwards if I had stayed for the entire time. They were towards the back and felt the teacher was moving too fast and the moves were too difficult. If you are interested in taking a class, I suggest a few things:

1. Have fun!! Jam to the music. Don’t mind if you can’t get it…if you have fun with it, nobody cares.
2. Freestyle - I always freestyle! And I smile and shake my butt when I mess up. It’s cute. You learn how to be cute when you mess up in classes and in life!
3. Count in your head: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8…get the beat. Learn the beat…go with the music!
4. Practice at home!
5. Go with a friend
6. Stand in the back until you’re comfortable but DON’T LEAVE.
