6 Fitness Tips for a Happy MONDAY!

Posted by Maria Kang on September 17, 2007

Happy, Happy, Monday y’all!! Are you excited to get this day going? Are you ready to put on your training shoes and make it out to the busy gym?? If not? Why not?

I know why??!! Because everyone is going to start this week with a goal to ‘be good on their training program.” HOWEVER, right around Wednesday/Thursday or so…the ellipticals, treadmills and free weight section will start to get a little less crowded.

WHY>>?? Because everyone else doesn’t READ fitness cure motivations everyday! ;-)

AND! They didn’t get a chance to read this awesome list I just compiled to keep y’all motivated for the rest of the week. Here’s tips I’ve recently used on myself:

1. IT is almost EXACTLY 3 MONTHS until Christmas. IMAGINE looking awesome on New Year’s 2008!!

2. Write down your goals and place them RIGHT NEXT to your bedside where you see every time you get on your knees and pray for VISION! FOCUS! INTENSITY! DRIVE! every morning!!

3. Whatever you are doing in the morning: whether it’s exercising, driving to work or in line at Starbucks, I want you to VISUALIZE how your day is going to look like. Use the power of VISUALIZATION to complete all your tasks with laser beam focus throughout the day. Go through every hour of your day and imagine hitting each goal with swift dedication!

4. If you don’t have a journal – GET ONE NOW. This journal can be a small pad of paper you ‘borrowed’ from your company’s storage room. Write down your goals that day – write down your diet – write down your work out – write down how you feel – write down anything that comes to mind!! JUST WRITE! Writing is the first form of manifestation of a dream in your head!

5. Tell someone who believes in you what you’re about to get done. YES – many people fail to tell people about their goals because THEY KNOW their friends are really smiling on the outside but saying ‘yah right’ in the inside. TELL someone who really loves you, whom you know always had confidence in you…and who YOU don’t want to let down about your new fitness endeavors.

6. Post daily reminders all around your living areas. For example, I wrote “SEIZE THE DAY” in my room recently. I also have “BE who you want to become” on my personal website and fitness columns. REMIND yourself – AFFIRM yourself – and BECOME your true self by utilizing tricks of the trade to make anything in your life possible.

TODAY IS MONDAY. Today allow us all to rejoice in the world of POSSIBILITIES. Anything is possible – ANYTHING. First you must create a focused intention and walk in that direction.

Happy, Happy, Happy Monday! AND Don’t forget to SMILE. Smile because you can.

GO! GO! GO!!!!!!!
