Daily Fitness Motivation – November 14

“Restlessness is discontent – and discontent is the first necessity of progress. Show me a thoroughly satisfied man – and I will show you a failure.”- Thomas Alva Edison

Fitness Motivation:
There is a fine balance between accepting yourself as you are – and desiring to achieve something more.

In order to achieve your future goals, there needs to be a healthy restlessness or discontent with your current life.

You need to want stronger abs, faster legs or smaller dress sizes.

You need to desire what you have yet to realize.

If you say to yourself:

“I am happy with how I am now”

or

“I don’t want anything more”

or

“I am satisfied with being just as I am”

then you are not creating the thirst you need in order to fill your desire for “something more”

I AM NOT prescribing you to dislike who you are – but I AM recommending that you constantly seek WHO and WHAT you want to evolve into.

Creating a constant balance between loving what you have right now and desiring what you want tomorrow is the key to fitness success.
