“The world can only be grasped by action, not by contemplation…The hand is the cutting edge of the mind.”     – Jacob Bronowski

Fitness Motivation:
How often do you contemplate about what you are going to do?

How often do you think about your goals or plan your dreams?

I am a proponent of contemplating, dreaming, goal setting….

BUT!

I am a bigger proponent of ACTION.

Take ACTION towards your goals.

Stop thinking and start moving!

One of my great friends, Mike Mahler, wrote a great article about research addicts versus action addicts.

Which one are you?

Do you read a ton of self help books ‘preparing’ yourself to make change?

OR

Are you the person who takes action so much that you don’t do enough preparation to prevent mistakes when in movement?

Once you’ve created the goal – the end date – and the plan…start following through, NOW.

While I believe I’m a little bit of a research and action addict, I do know that it doesn’t take THAT long to research, and the best moment to make progressive actions is RIGHT NOW.

So get off your butt and walk your dog, run a mile, eat a salad, drink some water, write your goals, email a supportive friend, join a gym….

Take Action!

The more action you take, the faster you will get to where you want to be!
