“The real secret of success is enthusiasm.” – Walter Chrysler

Fitness Motivation:

woohooo!!

yay!

It’s Wednesday! The week is half way over!

The weekend is ALMOST here.

You’re each day MORE closer to getting to your goal.

In order to get there you must

NEVER

EVER

Lose enthusiasm.

Be excited to move your body – it’s still functional!

Be excited to eat well – you have nutrients!

Be excited to make healthy choices – you have a choice!

You have a choice TODAY

To be better than you were yesterday.

To be more of who you want to be tomorrow.

Be enthusiastic about life.

It’s only yours to live.

  1. Actually the real secret is the right actions whether you are positive or negative does not matter. If the plan works, it works. I know a lot of enthusiastic people that get nothing done and I know plenty of grumpy people that get a lot done.

    Hey Maria!

Thanks for today’s (and all) daily fitness motivation! I did great this week thus far! Sunday I did cardio only. Monday and Tuesday I did free-weights. I don’t usually do weight-training two days in a row but I barely did any at all last week so I thought it would do me good to shake up the system, so to speak. Today, Wednesday, I focused on my abs and glutes. I took an Ultimate Abs class at my gym, which uses the fitness balls and the magic rings. It’s amazing how these exercises work you to the core! (get it?! core?! haha) Tomorrow I will continue to focus on abs and glutes while strenth-training. Tomorrow, I’m going to do planks on that fitness ball for 5 minutes (with 30 seconds to one minute rests in between). I love feeling legitimately determined to do well. Sometimes you don’t feel up to working out and you kinda just put on your game face to help you get into that mindset but you’re not feeling it. When you actually are inspired and WANT to do well, great things can happen. One thing I feel like I could work on is having more concrete goals. Right now, my reality is kind of screwed up because even though I know I LOOK athletic, I don’t always see that. I see a big butt, stomach, and thunder thighs. You know. So my goal is to get better from that. Which is a mental, not physical, thing. But I also want to have physical goals to work on. I would like to improve my biceps and I would like to be able to run (walk/run) a marathon… by…???? I don’t know when. lol … If you have any suggestions, I’m happy to hear them.

Thanks so much! Have a great weekend!

    Lindsay
