My Fitness Motivation: Pregnant Fitness Models!

I know I have a lot of male readers – but since I AM pregnant and am ‘working on my fitness’ still, my motivations to stay fit have been through healthy role models.

Here is what I’ve observed being pregnant so far:

- There are a lot of people who are pregnant

- Most of them are giving birth to boys. SO AM I!!

- It is hard for any normally active person to be equally active during pregnancy.

- We’re all lazy and tired.

HOWEVER! I have to say that I am very energetic these last few days!! I will write more about it later. In the meantime, check out these awesome inspirations of women whom despite their body’s responsibility of making a baby, they still maintain a healthy level of fitness!

Fitness Motivation:
Strength comes from experiencing challenge -

Power comes from a resisting force.

Whenever you want to grow…

You need to be challenged.

IF you want a bicep to grow -

you need to place an opposing force upon it.

IF you want to burn fat on the treadmill -

you have to allow oxygen in your lungs to challenge your heart to work harder.

IF THERE IS NO STRUGGLE

YES!

THERE IS NO STRENGTH.

So know this truth -

Know that you struggle for a reason.

Make it happen.

Fitness Motivation:
Time is a great teacher!

But unfortunately…

I am VERY IMPATIENT.

Especially when it comes to fulfilling fitness goals.

One of the biggest things I learned in my personal physical progress is…

You experience, you learn, you grow..

It takes time to build muscle.

It takes time to lose fat.

It takes time to change your body from years of not changing it at all.

It takes time to develop a mental fortress.

It takes time to experience life.

It takes TIME.

If you can outlast the test of time…

Then you’ve got a chance at this fitness game.

In fact, the patience you receive will give you more benefit than we will ever know.

Be patient.

Be persistent.

Be powerful.
