Fitness Pregnancy Blog: my 5 month plan
Last week I created this new chart for my room (since my last one ended on my sister’s wedding). And when I wrote all the months out it seemed like my baby was going to come so soon! I also had my niece and nephew help me color so we enjoyed some quality time together.
I’ve been feeling fatigued as usual - and have found that it’s easier for me to workout with other people versus by myself. Yesterday I had an intense leg workout so now I’m SORE. I wanted to take Zumba class today but didn’t like the instructor. I don’t have any cravings and I’ve been eating moderately well.
The reason why I create workout charts are:
- spending time and energy in personalizing it makes me want to update it and upkeep it.
- I use colors to indicate what exercise I performed
- I am a very visual person so this chart helps me see my progress
- writing everythign down keeps me accountable
My goal during my pregnancy is to:
- walk 30-45 minutes with my dog 3-4 times a week
- high rep, low weight whole body exercises a minimum on 2x/week
- be active 3-5 times per week
- be moderate and listen to my body each day.
** This week I will be in Mississippi so I won’t have access to my normal amenities, however, I plan to do a lot of walking and perform some exercises in my bedroom a couple of mornings this week.
