Fitness Motivation:
Happy, Happy Monday everyone!!
It’s the beginning of a new week -
a new day -
and a new opportunity…
to change the course of your future.
It first begins with a PLAN.
What’s your plan?
Are you planning to workout Mon, Wed and Fri?
Are you planning to eat a fish and vegetables dinner?
What are you planning today?
It’s ALL ABOUT planning…
for you are forecasting all that you are going to do…
you just can’t expect stuff to happen..
you have to WILL it to happen.
Manage your time today.
And make this week an awesome week!
Thanks Mike for sending me this awesome inspiration!

My first blog post was on September 5, 2006!
From that point forward, I wrote a daily fitness motivation every day (except for weekends and during my recent excursion to India)
It has been a fun ride and an interesting journey to have this blog. Sometimes, I feel like posting, other times (and you can tell when those times are) I hardly post anything but pictures and videos
However, it has been a dedicated and committed journey where I’ve learned soooo many things. I don’t know what inspires me to get on my computer each day and type – except for the fact that I know many of you read this site and seek inspiration…or just want to be ‘in the loop’ with fitness stuff.
I never knew what would become of this site as it has evolved. BUT: I figure, it has evolved in the same ways I have.
- In the beginning I talked a lot about fitness contests (which I don’t do as much anymore)
- Then, I started including lots of studies (which interest me with the grants I write)
- For a period, I indulged in Fitness Pet Peeves (probably because I was getting burnt out with the gym and training)
- NOW, I tend to have a lot of fit mommies as role models (since I am now pregnant)
So – as I keep y’all motivated…this site also keeps me motivated…and tracks where I am in my own personal fitness journey. It isn’t easy to be fitness conscious for the REST OF YOUR LIFE, but you need to be. And once you make it a consistent task, then it becomes one of your good habits.
Writing each day on Fitness Cure has been a good habit for me.
Thank you for reading, and I promise to have better, more motivating and educational info in the future!

Thanks for joining me on the journey! I’m 3.5 mths pregnant, climbing a mountain here
My mailbox is getting FLOODED with races coming up in the next few months. Near my Sacramento area is the:
- The Kaiser Permanente Veggie Chase
- Run to Feed the Hungry
If you are interested in running or walking for 5k or 10k, then check out Active.com and put in your zipcode to find a race near you!!
These races are a ton of fun.
