Fitness Blog: I’m in Pregnancy Honeymoon!
I am around 5 1/2 months pregnant and am feeling really good. I workout 4-5 times a week and make it a point to stay active by walking my dog or playing a recreational sport. My belly is definitely changing. I feel the baby kick often and I have grown 4 inches around the waist! I stil have a hard time working out by myself though. I usually need to meet my girlfriend Stephanie or Len - or have David take me.
Today, I will be working out in approximatley 1.5 hours and then head off to a Fitness without Borders board meeting. This week, I hope to workout every day as I am leaving for India on Saturday! I’m very excited and will be gone 10 days.
My fitness goals this week are:
- walk Tiger almost every day
- eat 2000-2300/calories per day
- eat more protein
- try out my new protein shake
- drink more water
- perform weight training a minumum of 2 times this week
- swim more.
