Fitness Motivation:
Do you know what day it is for me???????
It’s Zumba class tonight!
I’ve talked affectionately about dance classes and especially for this Brazilian dance craze.
The wonderful part is:
is that it’s TOUGH.
My heart is racing.
I drink a TON of water.
And I’m using my arms, my legs and my core the ENTIRE time.
But I LOVE IT.
It doesn’t even feel like exercise.
It certainly doesn’t feel like running (which I detest)
MOST often,
people don’t stick to something -
because they’re not good at it.
They don’t enjoy it.
They’re not in ‘flow’ with it
SO
Don’t expect to stick to exercise
IF you don’t like what you do.
Anything ACTIVE is really exercise
Do you like to play sports?
Do you like to be in a group exercise setting?
Do you like running?
Don’t stay in Yoga if you HATE it (which I did)
and don’t stay in an aerobics class if you’re not coordinated.
DO SOMETHING you love.
And you will stick to it.
