Fitness Blog: “I’m Tired!”
Last week….was a good week.
I worked out almost every day, went walking outside and performed some weight training.
This week, however, I’ve been very tired. I usually work out either around 3pm or 6pm – but have found that those are the times I take the BEST naps. And since I have pretty terrible sleeping patterns lately, I DEFINITELY need the extra sleep.
I keep trying to remind myself that I have a little, itty bitty thing growing inside of me….and that it’s take ALL the energy outta my body to grow! SO, that is definitely humbling.
I also think the fatigue is due to other factors as well:
- I am transitioning from my 2nd to 3rd trimester. (the 2nd trimester is the most energetic time for pregnant women)
- The weather is changing and I’m adjusting to the sunlight.
- I am eating too much sugar (mostlly in the form of soy ice cream
- I keep thinking of all the things on my to do list – which makes it hard for me to sleep quickly at night.
- My belly is getting bigger so it takes me some time to get comfortable when sleeping.
TODAY I plan to work out in about an hour, go downtown to meet at our wedding reception place, attend a FWB meeting and finish 2 articles due today.
