Post-Prego Fitness Blog: I used my Jogger today

Yes I did! And I HATE running too! But I did it.

I was actually really frustrated throughout the night because the baby woke me up at 3am to feed and 6am…usually I train around 6am, but I was already too tired to get up and go. Knowing that I missed my first workout really made me upset. SO! I decided to try out the ol’ jogger as I hate going to the gym past a certain time during the day. (I am such a gym snob. I only like to workout before 8am, during 12-3pm and only classes at night)

So we went running for aroun 20 minutes and it was hard! My heart rate was so high…I don’t even think I was moving more than a snail’s pace. Towards the end (going home) I started walking as my side started to ache. Nonetheless, I am proud of my small achievement!

Yesterday, I missed my morning workout too! But I ended up working out with my sister, which was fun since we never workout together. We performed 45 minutes of cardio, arms and abs. It’s great how even though the day doesn’t start off the way you want it too, you can make it better by looking for opportunities for greatness!

So, today, I plan on going to IHRSA convention: the International Health Racquet Sports Association, being held in San Francisco. I go to this show annually as it is the biggest show in the fitness business..it’s a great place to network, see new products and try out new workouts. Great fun! Can’t wait!

In the meantime – I’m still eye-ing my scale like crazy. It hasn’t moved a pound from last week yet and it’s driving me crazy! However, I also noticed that it doesn’t move and then all of a sudden it jumps down two pounds all the time. Let’ cross our fingers!
